| Laura Alpert's marble sculptures are pure expressions of the tools she uses. Pushing the structural limits of Colorado Yule marble, Laura uses a hydraulic diamond chain saw to explore the bedding layers of the stone and then a myriad of hand tools to refine these cuts and explorations.
The results are spectacular thin slabs that both reflect and diffuse light.
